Three Way Colour Corrector

Only a few of my shots looked dull and darker compared to the rest of the footage especially when edited next to another bright shot, this was because when I was interviewing Rex in particular the last half of the interview was shot an hour after the first half as he had to have his dinner, due to the time of the day the light changed significantly over this time and there was less light on his face.

Previously in the course, I learnt how to alter the look of a video by using the Three Way Colour Corrector, which enhances and allows you to balance the colour of the footage, allowing it to look brighter, or darker depending on what you’re after.

I may also apply this to another shot (of Ember) which is the opposite of Rex’s dark shot, it is almost on the verge of being overexposed as there is a lot of light on her face.
